These cameras are so popular these days because they add a layer of security and provide an extra sense of confirmation. In fact, many people will spend lots of money on these cameras so their loved ones can check in on what is going on while they’re away.
However, this means that the photos or videos can get stored on the camera itself. If you want to view them on your phone or computer, you’ve got to find a way to transfer them to another device. But, what’s the secret?

Download the app
First, you’ll need to download the app (which app supported to your trail camera). The app is free and is available in the iTunes Store for iOS devices. Once it’s downloaded, open the app and sign up using your email address and password.
Connect your camera to Dropbox account
Now that you have Dropbox installed on your phone, go to the “Settings” menu and choose “Wi-Fi. “Next, choose the wireless network that connects to your camera. You may need to enter any security information that’s required in order to access the wireless network. Then, go back one screen and choose “Camera Upload” in the settings menu; there should be a list of all of your camera’s contents.
Once you have selected your trail camera, you’ll want to choose “Select All” so it’s all uploaded at once instead of having to upload each picture one by one. Hit “Upload” when you are ready.
Download and view photos and videos
After your camera uploads, you’ll be able to view the photos and videos on your Dropbox. Just go to “Camera Upload” and select “All Photos & Videos.” You can then use Dropbox to open, edit or delete any of the pictures as needed.
